As we look forward to the hanukiah’s warm light brightening the cold season, it brings us together, As One.
As Chanukah draws near and the air grows cooler with the onset of winter, a quiet sense of anticipation settles in. The days shorten, the evenings deepen, and you can almost feel a glow waiting just beyond the horizon. Soon, the hanukiah will be lit, its flames dancing gently against the dark, offering a warmth that seems to reach far beyond the wicks themselves. Even before the first candle is kindled, the promise of that light—its comfort, its hope, its celebration—begins to warm the season from within.
